Working with Claire has been a life changing experience. I never in a million years thought I could have done the work I have done while under her instructions. I am amazed at the things she has seen in me and the amount of energy I have after our sessions. One day I was working with her, and she had me doing deadlifts. Now I’m a pretty big guy, coming in around 295, never in my life would I have thought I would be able to lift the weight she believed I could do. Claire isn’t just a personal trainer she takes it up a level. I don’t see her as a trainer, I see her as a friend looking to better another friend. And that’s just what she’s been doing with me just this last month.

Before meeting Claire I hated exercising, and I used to force myself to. May be that’s why I did not stay interested. I seriously started to love my workouts after her sessions and after meeting her. She is highly motivational and pushes to get the best out of me. I have gained the confidence that I can see a transformation under her!

Before training with Claire, I was struggling with trying to figure out what to do in the gym. I had been lifting for over a year when my old coach moved and was lacking that personal push and motivation that I needed.

Even though I was still going and doing ‘what I wanted’ I wasn’t pushing myself to my true capacity, which is what I need to be doing. Claire has updated my schedule to the point where each day I look at what I have to do and wonder if it’s even possible so when I do it, I feel completely rejuvenated that I truly maxed myself out during my workout. Since training with Claire, I have hit multiple PR’s and am way more mindful of my nutrition. She is an amazing trainer who knows how to be direct to get your form to be the best it’s ever been, but also has a bubbly personality so you feel great about everything that you are doing. Having her coaching me in strength training and powerlifting is exactly who/what I need.

My favorite thing about Claire is how sincerely invested she is in her clients. With her training plan, I’ve become physically stronger, but she has also helped me to stay strong mentally when I’ve hit a wall. Her positive attitude combined with her fitness expertise makes her an excellent trainer and I look forward to continuing training with her and reaching my fitness goals.

My weight has been like a yo-yo since I was 16 years old. This year I made the decision to take control. On October 1st I started eating super healthy and looked for a gym to join. Lifetime is close to my house so I decided to give it a try and they paired me with a trainer. The very first time I met Claire I could tell she was exactly what I needed to stay on track. In our first session, she took the time to ask me about my history with my weight, my goals,  expectations of myself and what my top priority was as far as exercising. I explained to her that I had absolutely no interest in being skinny. I’ve always been curvaceous and I wanted to stay that way, I just wanted to lose some of the fat off my stomach and arms, tone the rest; I just wanted to be curvy, lean and get the “bikini body” of my dreams. Claire took notes and then in 3 short days created a complete strength training program that specifically targeted the areas and goals that we had discussed in our session. Over the course of the month, Claire checked on me constantly, texting me to ask how I was liking the program and if I was still eating right, helping me whenever needed and offering wonderful words of encouragement as well as nutritional advice. She told me different ways to incorporate protein into my diet as well as reminding me that I needed to consume good carbs to keep the curves I love so much. The photo on the left was taken on the day of my first session with Claire at the beginning of October. The photo on the right was taken yesterday (November 15). When I compared the two photos I was blown away by my noticeable progress. I immediately sent the photo to Claire and she was just as excited as I was, showering me with praise. She is an awesome trainer and she goes above and beyond to also be a friend. I look better than I have in my entire life. Although I have not yet reached my final goal, I have absolutely no doubt that if I stick with Claire’s program, I’ll have that bikini body I want by this upcoming summer!

My workouts before Claire… Well, it was pretty much all over the place. I had no sense of direction before I had her to coach me through everything. The way she works with you is AMAZING. Coming into working out and having a trainer I was nervous because I’m nowhere near in shape and I knew what I wanted but I didn’t know how to get there. As soon as I met Claire, I just felt comfortable, like it was like I had known her for years. She takes you and asks you what do you want out of the experience and helps you work towards your goals that way, she doesn’t make you do things that are unnecessary. She pushes you and believes in you when you want to give up because you don’t believe you can, she tells me all the time, ‘come on a few more you can do this.’ To have someone by your side helping you achieve your goals and they believe in you at the same time makes everything a lot easier. I have seen so much growth in myself ever since I started working with her, that I probably would have never seen on my own. I am and forever will be grateful that her and I crossed paths. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for my journey, and I owe it all to Claire!

Going to the gym was something I never liked to do until I started training with Claire. I always thought the gym would make my body look too muscular. I’ve trained with Claire for about 5 months now and I love it. She not only taught me some great workout programs (kettlebell swings, tgu, inverted rows, and ab wheel are my favorite) but also always throws in tips about nutrition and relaxation techniques during our workout sessions. She pushes me to do the best I can while still being the friendliest trainer in the gym.
